She's a Natural!

Sydney decided to help me pick some peanuts for her teachers at school. I didn't even have to show her how, Sydney picked up the plant and immediately took off the peanuts like a pro. Looks like we have a little farmer!

Just like Gram...

I gave Sydney 2 paper rolls to play with this morning, thinking she would use them as telescopes or maybe horns. I even showed her how to blow into them to make funny noises. But Sydney had her own unique idea. She decided to put them on her wrists! She looked just like my Mom when she had her cast on her arm this summer. I wonder if that is where Sydney got the idea from?

Big Girl

Sydney is growing up so fast...too fast for us! She decided to walk around the kitchen in Daddy's shoes this morning saying "Bye, Bye". She was ready to go, go, go!

Brush your teeth...

Sydney is doing well brushing her teeth. She loves to "brush" her teeth herself, but always opens up to say "Aaah" and let Mommy or Daddy help her.

Cut the Mullet

I finally caved in and agreed to cut Sydney's hair. She doesn't have a full head of hair, so I was reluctant in the beginning. But it was time...so I went first cutting her curl in the back. While I was saving her curl, Keith took over and said he was going to "straighten it in the back". While he did straighten it in the back, it was a good bit shorter than I would have cut it. Sydney seemed to enjoy herself...I just hope people don't call her a boy!
